How can I use Survey?
Site Survey provides an easy method of:
- Monitoring and controlling version number and file date/time
to monitor report changes
- Quickly assessing report complexity based on the report metrics/statistics
- Grouping reports by author (available only on network version of Crystal Reports)
- Listing reports by report title
Who can use Survey?
Survey is intended for anyone with a need to review and/or
monitor report files.
For developers, Survey is useful in monitoring and tracking
version numbers and identifying report complexity based on
metrics.
For users, Survey also provides valuable metrics information
indicating report complexity, and also allows basic update
control information by providing revision number and total
edit time.
For both users and developers: A real problem often encountered
is when more than one version of a report exists - which is
the most current? Often Survey will provide enough information
to help. |
